The hotel being at the heart of Midtown Manhattan is stone throw away from Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Madison Square, the Theater District, Central Park, port authority bus terminal, among many others. There are also lots of grocery stores and restaurants around so you won't worry about food. Staffs are helpful and when you're out of room, they do daily housekeeping, just make sure you remove the "occupied room" tag on your doorknob. They support sustainability through providing a water dispenser instead of bottled water. The room size is good. Having a mini kitchen is a plus, with microwave oven, kitchen sink, water kettle and mini refrigerator. Overall, we enjoyed our stay especially the hotel's proximity to lots of attractions. We were upgraded to a room on the 3rd floor but the shower knob was broken and unable to turn on shower. The digital clock was not working properly and unable to change to proper time. Luckily i told the front desk and they were able to change our room right away. Otherwise the hotel was good.

The hotel room was clean and renovated. The hotel itself seemed a train station with too many people in the waiting launch. Luggage keepers are getting enoyed if not receiving a tip. You have to tip everything besides the normal room payments. Check-in is too late (4 pm) especially for those who travel the entire night before arrival. Elevators could get a renovation.

Pro: location, close to Times Square Cons: This is an old hotel with slow elevators. The luggage staff asked for tip although he just simply bring our luggage to the lobby. On the first night we got a rundown unrenovated room. The power cables are messy and exposed, and the power went off when my wife was using hairdryer at night. The Window aircon is loud, the chair has graffiti on it. We complained the next day and got replacement room which is much better.

For the price it was a good deal. Clean and very conveniently located to Broadway and Times Square. There were not a lot of amenities and the room was a touch shabbier than the pictures made it out but everything was clean and the bathroom was nice. Would absolutely stay again.

The location is very good! The elevators are a bit slow and small. Avoid using them during peak times, such as 10:00 and 18:00.
